The flat cap on top is solid, so the light does not come at you. It escapes from the seam underneath and runs down the column and out across the surface, which is why it can sit in the middle of a table without anyone squinting past it. Can I change the colour of the light?
You can choose between three settings, and all three are warm. There is no cool or daylight setting and no colour wheel. On top of that the brightness is stepless, so you can take it down very low.

Is it really metal?
Yes. The body is metal and it weighs just under 400 grams, which you notice the moment you pick it up.

Can I use it outside?
We list it for indoor use only. On a covered balcony on a dry evening it is fine; in the rain it is not.
